PHASE 5 STEEL BAND ENTERTAINMENT
We provide entertainment in the form of Phase 5 Steelband. We play for Weddings, Bar-B-Q's, Christenings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events consisting of Family Fun Days and background music for Conferences, Funerals, Carnivals, Senior Homes etc.

We can supply a steelpan group consisting of from one to five players depending on your type of function and the number of guests to be entertained. We play a variety of music consisting of ballads, reggae, soul and calypso. From background music at Product promotions, and Dinners to full Dinner-Dances and Parties, we can provide the musical entertainment. Need a solo singer or limbo dancer?

We can also provide a band consisting of players with learning disabilities if required for particular functions.

LEARN TO PLAY WORKSHOPS
We provide a range of educational, fun and cost efficient musical events working with the Steel Drum.

Pupils of any age and ability are able to take part in the activities we can provide and it has proved particularly beneficial to clients with a special need background including disability and disaffected youth. We have full public liability insurance cover and have been police check cleared (enhanced).

We can offer a reduced cost introductory interactive workshop sessions to schools. This can be for up to 10 pupils for an agreed time between 1-3 hours. The cost would be minimal to cover our expenses and future requirements will be taken into consideration.

• Steelpan Classes for school groups - We can provide formal education classes for 10 year olds to adult, including people with additional needs.
• Interactive Steelpan Workshops - for small groups, in a two hour session we can teach the scale on the steel drum, cover various beats, and by the end of the session the group will be able to play a simple tune.
• School Holiday Projects - for out of school activities, we can provide single day to week (or longer) project sessions where participants can learn about the history and culture of the steel band, basic musical theory and to play various instruments within the steel band including bass, tenor, cellos, guitar and second pans.

Caribbean & African Drumming - We also provide African or Caribbean drumming workshops and performances for all occasions.

We work with a number of educational establishments both mainstream and additional needs providing a variety of events and activities.

Past/current clients include:
Day Care Centres in East London and elsewhere, Secondary Schools in London and nearby counties, Adult Learning Project for London Borough of Lewisham, Newham Summer School, Kent County Council, Home Office and many more.

Over the past 2 years we have successfully run the Newham Summer school's classes for the Steelpan, Caribbean and African drumming and Poetry and Verse.
